OUR SPECIAL AREA TEACHERS
Ms. Grace is a teacher from the United States of America. She grew up in New York State on a dairy farm and has been living and teaching in Bangkok for two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in visual art from Brown University and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Denver. Ms. Grace loves to paint, draw, and sculpt with children. Her own art work focuses on creating abstract designs and alternate realities that tell a story through the paint and the pencil. The goal of her classroom is to create a safe space where children feel free to be independent and to express themselves. Sierra Brooke Hartman
Mr. Paul Lukens grew up in the state of Minnesota, in the United States of America. Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a double major in Biology and Broad Fields Science, and with Teacher Certification and a Department of Public Instruction Teacher License. Paul has over 25 years of teaching experience including American public schools, as well as teaching in the United States Army. He also taught guitar at a Music Conservatory for children in Southern California. Paul has been a teacher in Thailand for 7 years, teaching Biology, Science, and Mathematics.
Ms. Ashley comes from the Wei Hai, Shan Dong province of China. She earned her bachelor degree in TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language). She has been teaching students from America, Thailand, and Korea for four years.
Jonathan Dela Cruz

Jonathan Dela Cruz has been working at international schools as an IT administrator and teacher for over ten years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and is a certified IT Administrator. His classes focus on programing languages and photo editing.

Eric Hutchinson was born and raised in the United States where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Electronic Media from The University of Tennessee. He spent the last year teaching English language to select government employees of Thailand’s Bureau of the Budget as well as ICT here at Raffles. Before moving to Thailand he spent three years with an American non-profit doing medical relief missions in the US, the Caribbean, and South America.
Kristina Bajamundi Maso
Ms.Tin is a dedicated educator with 8 years of experience as a Physical Education Teacher. She is from the Central Luzon Region, Bulacan. She studied in Bulacan State University and graduated in 2008 with the Bachelor Degree in Physical Education. She maintains a passion for instilling in children the importance of lifelong learning, health, dance and fitness. She is capable of educating the whole
child and is confident in her abilities to utilize a variety of teaching techniques that meets all their individual needs. One’s adaptability and willingness to work with others in order to ensure the success of students is crucial. She is very happy to bring her diverse selection of interdisciplinary lessons and ideas to the RAS Family.
Phichsinee Pawatphong (Pat) graduated from Payap University with a Bachelor of Arts in Thai language and also Diploma in Teaching Profession. She has been a Thai teacher for 3 years and has taught in kindergarten and elementary schools. She has also taught both native and non-native speakers at international schools. When she has free time she enjoys going to temple for meditation retreats, and she loves reading. She is very excited to join the teaching staff at Raffles American School.
Jenjira Junpadungjit (Lek) graduated with a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Ramkhamhaeng University. She has been teaching Thai for seven years from Kindergarten to high school to both native and non-native speakers at international schools. She has used her knowledge to help the school develop Thai curriculums for foreigners and curriculums for kindergarten. She enjoys hand-made arts and crafts such as carving Line-Thai on pine wood. Khun Lek is extremely happy to join the teaching staff at Raffles American School. Sawaddee ka.
