At Raffles American School, every child’s journey starts with curiosity, laughter, and discovery. Our Early Years program provides a safe, caring, and fully English-speaking environment where children learn through play, imagination, and hands-on exploration.
We believe that young learners thrive when they feel loved, heard, and encouraged to ask “why.” Every moment — from circle time to outdoor play — is designed to build confidence, social skills, and the joy of learning.
We nurture the whole child — academically, emotionally, and socially.
Each classroom is a warm, inclusive space where every student is known, supported, and celebrated.
Teachers trained in early childhood development and international best practices
Children at RAS learn best when they do, touch, move, and create.
Our classrooms are designed to spark imagination and curiosity.
“Play is not a break from learning — play is learning.”
— Lauren, Early Years Vice Principal
I am deeply honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of RAS EYES. While many of you already know me from my journey that began here in 2018 as a third-grade teacher, followed by roles as Academic Coordinator and Vice Principal, I am humbled to now serve our community in this new capacity. Throughout my time at Raffles, I have developed a deep understanding of our school’s culture, values, and the unique needs of our students and staff.
As your principal, I am committed to maintaining our high academic standards, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and strengthening the partnership between school and families. I look forward to collaborating with our entire school community as we continue to build upon the strong foundation that makes RAS special.
After six wonderful years teaching at Raffles American School, Im excited to begin a new chapter as Early Years Vice Principal.
During my time in the classroom, Ive worked with an amazing team of Early Years teachers and supportive families, guiding our youngest learners as they take their first steps in school. Its been a joy to see many of my former students thrive in the older grades.
In this new role, I bring hands-on classroom experience, a Masters in Education, and a deep passion for supporting each childs social, emotional, and academic growth. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and at Raffles, our Early Years team is proud to be part of that village.
Though Ill miss daily classroom life, I look forward to connecting with students in new ways throughout the school community.
