HEAD OF SCHOOL

I am very proud to join RAS, and look forward to meeting everyone in the school community. I am grateful for the amazing work done by Mr. Kyle and his team of dedicated teachers and staff. They have built a well-organised and stimulating educational environment based on a student-centered approach that values each child’s unique strengths and needs. I am impressed with RAS’s holistic educational philosophy that combines rigorous academics with a focus on mastery-based learning, providing a supportive environment that promotes deep understanding and growth. I am impressed with our team of dedicated teachers who foster an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students are empowered to think critically, explore creatively, and develop lifelong learning skills.

As I join the RAS community, I inherit the legacy of Mr Kyle and the firm foundation that he has laid. He has built a healthy, caring, and vibrant school. My first impression of the school was of a welcoming and caring community that genuinely cares for the whole student. I feel very honored to be part of such a learning community. As the new Head of Schools, I look forward to working with the team to further build on this foundation, to strengthen the programs in place, and to help the school continue to grow and mature.

My vision for school is a caring learning community where everyone is excited and energized to learn. A community characterised by compassion, passion, and inquisitiveness that comes from the heart.

Early Years & Elementary Principal

I am deeply honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of RAS EYES. While many of you already know me from my journey that began here in 2018 as a third-grade teacher, followed by roles as Academic Coordinator and Vice Principal, I am humbled to now serve our community in this new capacity. Throughout my time at Raffles, I have developed a deep understanding of our school’s culture, values, and the unique needs of our students and staff.

As your principal, I am committed to maintaining our high academic standards, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and strengthening the partnership between school and families. I look forward to collaborating with our entire school community as we continue to build upon the strong foundation that makes RAS special.

Early Years Vice Principal

After six wonderful years teaching at Raffles American School, Im excited to begin a new chapter as Early Years Vice Principal.

During my time in the classroom, Ive worked with an amazing team of Early Years teachers and supportive families, guiding our youngest learners as they take their first steps in school. Its been a joy to see many of my former students thrive in the older grades.

In this new role, I bring hands-on classroom experience, a Masters in Education, and a deep passion for supporting each childs social, emotional, and academic growth. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and at Raffles, our Early Years team is proud to be part of that village.

Though Ill miss daily classroom life, I look forward to connecting with students in new ways throughout the school community.

Our vibrant community of dedicated educators, engaged students, and supportive families works together to ensure every child is seen, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We strive to develop not only strong academic learners but also compassionate global citizensyoung individuals who are confident in sharing their ideas, creative in problem-solving, and courageous in taking on leadership roles. This commitment extends beyond the classroom to the sports field, the arts, service projects, and every thoughtful choice our students make.

Our Middle School culture is grounded in high expectations, collaboration, and the belief that when educators, families, and students share a common vision, there is no limit to what we can achieve. I warmly invite you to join us on this exciting journey of learning, growth, and discovery.
