RAS Talent Show 2026: Lights On, Energy Up, The Stage Comes Alive
A Celebration of Courage and Creativity
The RAS Talent Show 2026 was an unforgettable evening that brought the entire school community together in celebration of individual brilliance. Students from across every year group stepped confidently into the spotlight, sharing their passions and talents with an enthusiastic audience of families, teachers, and peers.
Performances That Inspired
The stage came alive with a remarkable diversity of performances, including:
- Powerful drum performances that filled the auditorium with energy and rhythm
- Graceful ballet that captivated audiences with precision and poise
- Elegant piano recitals showcasing impressive technical skill and musical depth
- Heartfelt vocal performances that moved audiences and demonstrated genuine artistry

From the youngest performers taking their very first bow to the most seasoned students commanding the stage, every child demonstrated remarkable confidence, dedication, and authentic self-expression. The Talent Show served as a powerful reminder that when students are encouraged to express themselves freely, they discover a confidence that extends far beyond the stage itself.
Field Trips: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Connecting Real-World Exploration with Academic Learning
Throughout May, RAS students embarked on a series of carefully curated field trips designed to bring classroom learning to life. Each destination was thoughtfully selected to align with the school’s commitment to hands-on, experiential education — connecting curiosity with discovery in ways that textbooks alone cannot achieve.
This Month’s Learning Destinations
National Science Museum Students explored interactive exhibits that brought scientific principles and innovation to life, deepening their understanding of the world around them through engaging, hands-on experiences.
Sea Life Bangkok An immersive dive into the wonders of the ocean, this visit gave students the opportunity to discover marine ecosystems, learn about biodiversity, and develop a meaningful appreciation for ocean conservation.
Dream World Far more than just an amusement park, Dream World became a real-world classroom where students examined the physics, engineering, and design principles behind the attractions they experienced firsthand.
Beat Active BKK Students engaged in active, movement-based learning through interactive games that promoted teamwork, physical literacy, and a joyful approach to physical education.
Wow Park An immersive creative environment that challenged students to engage their imaginations, Wow Park brought lessons in creativity and design thinking to life through stunning installations and interactive displays.
International Day 2026: Exploring Cultures, Celebrating Diversity
Friday, May 22, 2026
One of the most anticipated events in the RAS calendar, International Day 2026 brought the school community together on Friday, May 22 in a spectacular celebration of the world’s rich cultural tapestry. Families, students, and teachers gathered for a day filled with color, creativity, and genuine cultural appreciation.
Developing Globally-Minded Learners
In the weeks leading up to International Day, students immersed themselves in meaningful research, creative cultural projects, and thoughtful exploration of countries and communities from around the globe. The event gave every student the opportunity to present their learning in an exciting, community-wide showcase.
Why International Day Matters
International Day sits at the heart of the RAS mission. It celebrates our commitment to developing students who are not only academically excellent, but who are also globally minded — young people who appreciate diversity, understand different perspectives, and recognize the beauty in cultures from every corner of the world. Events like these are a powerful reminder that our students are growing into confident, empathetic citizens of a global community.
RAS Sports Academy Program 2026–2027: Registration Now Open
Build Champions On and Off the Field
Raffles American School is proud to announce that registration for the RAS School Sports Academy Program for the 2026–2027 academic year is now open. The Sports Academy offers structured, high-quality training programs designed to develop athletic skill, discipline, and teamwork in students across multiple age groups.
School Parking & Safety Guidelines: A Reminder for Our Community
As part of RAS’s ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of every student, the school kindly reminds all families of the School Parking & Safety Guidelines during drop-off and pick-up hours.
Parking Options
- Primary: Please prioritize using designated school parking lots for student pick-up at all times.
- Secondary (Overflow): Should the main lots reach full capacity, temporary parking is permitted along the bush-side curb.
Restricted Zones
Parking is strictly prohibited on Red-White or Yellow-White curbs at all times. Keeping these areas clear is essential for ensuring emergency vehicle access and maintaining maximum visibility for all road users.
Your cooperation with these guidelines helps prevent traffic congestion, minimizes the risk of vehicle collisions, and — most importantly — ensures the safety of every child at RAS. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our community safe.
