Develop Your Swimming Abilities at the RAS Swimming Academy

Raffles American School (RAS) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Swimming Academy Program for the 2026–2027 academic year. If your child enjoys swimming or is interested in developing competitive swimming skills in a supportive environment, the RAS Swimming Academy provides professional coaching, stroke technique training, and meaningful competitive experiences through BISAL and AISAA leagues competitions.

Swimming Academy Age Groupings

The RAS Swimming Academy is organized into two age-based groupings designed to match the developmental and competitive needs of swimmers at different stages:

  • Primary School Age Group (6-10 years old) Swimmers train together in this foundational group. At this level, coaching emphasizes basic stroke techniques, water confidence, and the enjoyment of swimming as a sport.
  • Secondary School Age Group (11-18 years old) Swimmers compete in this advanced group, where training focuses on competitive stroke refinement, fitness conditioning, and competitive meet preparation.

This age-based structure ensures that each swimmer receives coaching appropriate to her or his developmental level while maintaining sufficient group size for team camaraderie.
