Building Together: September 2026 at Raffles American School Bangkok

September has arrived, and campus is full of energy, friendship, and new beginnings. At Raffles American School Bangkok, this month is about honoring the traditions that ground us, celebrating the kindness that connects us, and looking forward to the milestones ahead. We are building more than a campus. We are building a community.

Wai Kru Ceremony 2026: The Flowers That Speak Without Words

The Wai Kru Ceremony is one of Thailand’s most meaningful customs. It is a moment when students pause to honor the educators who guide them. Every bloom on each traditional tray carries a quiet message of respect and gratitude, passed from student to teacher.

At Raffles American School Bangkok, we cherish this tradition because it teaches our young learners that respect is a universal language. It also reminds us that education is a lifelong journey built on gratitude, humility, and mutual respect. To our students, thank you for such heartfelt tributes. To our teachers, thank you for the care and dedication you bring every day.

Friendship Week 2026: Smile Together, Grow Together

From 21 to 25 September 2026, our school celebrated Friendship Week, a full week dedicated to kindness, inclusion, and the friendships that make our community special. Five days brought five fun ways to celebrate:

Monday: Pink Shirt Day
Tuesday: Odd Socks or Shoes Day
Wednesday: Crazy Hair Day
Thursday: Sunglasses Day
Friday: Pajama Day

At RAS, we believe true growth happens when students feel safe, valued, and connected to one another. Friendship Week is more than dress-up days. It is a celebration of the community we build together, every single day.
