Beverly
Beverly is both a licensed nurse and a teacher. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2007 from Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. and got her license in 2008. She got her Diploma in Teacher Education from Ifugao State University in 2015. She believes in the significance of being a lifelong learner and attends music teacher training certifications at College of Music Mahidol University. She has more than 13 years of teaching experience, including 3 years in a preschool
in the Philippines and 10 years in Kindergarten-Secondary schools in Thailand. She has taught health, English, and music. Before joining Raffles she taught in the music department of an IB international school for 3 years.
She has a deep passion for music and plays a variety of instruments. Her goal is to help children develop individual musicality from within themselves and be able to express them in different forms; help students to be compassionate and principled leaders both inside and outside of the classroom; and incorporate music in achieving students’ milestones, eventually creating a positive impact in all aspects of their development.
She is currently completing her master’s degree in education with a major in guidance and counseling. She has a vision of using music as therapy in her future endeavors.
