Teaching is Wasana’s dream career. She loves to excel in this field so much that she decided to focus her studies in Home Economics Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep. After earning a Bachelor’s degree, Wasana began her first teaching career at Sarasas Witaed Suvarnabhumi School where she, as a Homeroom Teacher, was responsible for five general education classes, i.e., Thai, Mathematics, Science, Social Science (Religions and Cultures) as well as History. Knowing that these classes are significantly important as they are the foundation to build students’ success in life and future career, Wasana focused her teaching on physical and mental activity participation that enhanced her students to ‘learn by doing’.
In addition to her basic teaching responsibilities, she encouraged and trained her students to participate in invention from waste materials. They won gold medals in national competitions from various reputable organizations.
After eight full years there, for personal and professional growth, Wasana joined Thai-Singapore International School and continued on to Raffles American International School Bangkok.
Because of valuable years of teaching experience she has gained, she applies such knowledge to students here with various activity participation as well as instructional media she invented by herself.
Wasana is very content when she sees students succeed in their work. Those happy faces are her dream comes true.
